Covering approximately 5,500 hectares of vineyards on a narrow peninsula, the area benefits from a strong maritime influence. The Mediterranean climate provides warm, dry summers moderated by sea breezes and mild winters. The vines are planted in old, deep gravelly loam soils over a granite bedrock, creating an environment well-suited for cultivating Shiraz alongside the region's renowned Bordeaux-style blends and Chardonnay.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eFollowing the harvest, the wine underwent its maturation process in American oak barrels. The barrel regimen consisted of 45% new oak, 30% one-year-old barrels, and 25% two-year-old barrels.
